The American Cemani Breeders Club...open forum

Ya this jokers ad came up on the cemani fb group I'm on. If it isn't a joke already albino animals have pink eyes, also notice how it's only a head in every photo, well except the chick which has 2 colors so also not albino.
How does he still have 100% positive feedback? Does no one go back and change their feedback or are they just that guilable and think they are getting quality birds?

I think it gets deleted, I left - feedback on a sell for bad communication & taking twice as long as ad stated for shipping and it was deleted the next day, left it again same thing happened. I also noticed a negative feedback from another buyer when I went in to leave mine. When mine was gone the next day so was his!

How do you change or update feedback on eBay once you've already left it?

Also wish eBay allowed more characters to use to give proper feedback.

Agreed. I don't think you can update feedback on eBay. I think it's possibly to leave "follow-up" feedback in some cases, but once you give a rating...it's stuck.

I always leave feedback based on how the eggs arrive, since the hatch is on me anyway. But that can make it tricky later in some circumstances.

I see shipped eggs, especially over Ebay, as a total gamble. A roll of the dice. I can accept that. What I don't like is feeling ripped off... or scammed.

My last round of "hybrid" Cemanis just went into lockdown.

I don't know if you guys have the same situation, but I have found that my Cemanis are really flighty and they are also just as fast...but thankfully also "chicken stupid" as usual...

out in the open, if they are paying attention to you, which they almost always are, you will never get closer than 10 feet from them.

I have to use two sticks, like the guy at the airport who parks jets.
It takes practice but by widely flanking them (walking around them) and waiving the sticks in each hand I can successfully "herd" them to where I want them to go about 90% of the time...

Also on a side note:
I have noticed that they can see in near darkness, unlike all my other chicken breeds...
All my other birds will be well and away up in the coop as the sun sets... but not my cemani...
They are still out in the closed run pecking and scratching away in the dark.
Clearly looking at me like "What's wrong with you? ignorant human...All chickens can see in the dark?"

They only go up into the coop an hour or so after total darkness falls.

I suppose both of these traits are because they are recently from the Jungle...
but that is just conjecture on my part.

Have you guys noticed this as well?

Yes. The wind blew the coop door closed, so they went on top of the barn, in the tree above the barn. I almost killed myself getting them down (Boss ran).

Even with crow reduction surgery they are so loud all day long, night long, morning long.

The white bresse are very friendly. The cemani rush up to make sure I CLOSE the gate and glare at me.. like yeah.. STAY OUT OF OUR AREA Mom!! Unless you're bringing us treats.

Interesting info (mine are still young & in the house) you just confirmed my decision to not free range them but keep them in fenced areas
