I'm not arguing here.
Just using shens as an example.
Mike said that the blue sheen alone is cemani; those with blue and the green Shen is an aspect from Sumatra. And denotes a Sumatra somewhere in the family tree.
So, are those cemanis that are pure flat black with no sheen at all.
Better or lesser cemanis?
Traits like this need to be ironed out... eventually.
And we are in a unique historic position to do so.
Not arguing either, people just need to be careful when they are implying someone has cross other lines into their birds when they don't have that person's lines. I have two lines plus a pair of Black Svart Hona's. also the light can change the way the sheen looks, some days if the light is right, some of mine so a little purple sheen mixed in also.
