Adorable!
Very nice
no that is not the right color for a paint...and those feet are way too yellow. pigment holes would be pinkish not yellow (correct me if I am wrong here) and they would only be spots on the feet not both feet and the legs. I would question if that is a pure silkie because it does not look like it is to me
i thought that too but then i looked at the head and there is definite black skin there. i have had babies skin darken as they mature, the melanin production increases and migrates into the organs and bones as they age.this chick is from the 'powder puff' silkies available from ebay, I admit it is taken on this persons word that they are purebred but the difference between the head skin being black and feet being pale made me wonder.no that is not the right color for a paint...and those feet are way too yellow. pigment holes would be pinkish not yellow (correct me if I am wrong here) and they would only be spots on the feet not both feet and the legs. Could be pure but with a bad gene throwing off yellow from either parent...or a parent silkie with another type of breed....either way yellow feet, not good.. WHOLLY CRAP, at that price, someone should definitely complain. LOL the yellow feet will not turn dark...if the skin was pinkish, it could very well turn darker but yellow is not going too. Someone is either throwing off the yellow pigment or that coop had a stranger come visit. loli thought that too but then i looked at the head and there is definite black skin there. i have had babies skin darken as they mature, the melanin production increases and migrates into the organs and bones as they age.this chick is from the 'powder puff' silkies available from ebay, I admit it is taken on this persons word that they are purebred but the difference between the head skin being black and feet being pale made me wonder.
