Hunter was very proud of his daughter's catch. "Because rabbits are always hunting, they're always listening and watching for predators. Even the slightest movement can scare off one." Hunter replied. "But excellent job! If it was me, I might of had to chase it for awhile." Hunter chuckled.
Nina: I don't think I could keep up with it without running into things if I chased it yet. *she said with a smile before grabbing the rabbit.*
"Same here!" Hunter joked. He lowered his head down by Nina. "Don't tell this around too much, but I used be a terrible hunter. I couldn't catch a ground squirrel that had broken legs." He picked up his head again, and said, "You're already doing a thousand times better than me at your age."
*Nina couldn't help but to giggle at the thought of him chasing a squirrel with broken legs.*
Hunter smiled big. "Practice!" He replied. "It was the only way to survive." Then he sorta whispered in a jokingly fashion. "Plus, I might of had a good teacher."
*Nina gave him a confused look when he said the last thing.*
Hunter's smile went away and he looked down with a sad look. "An old friend." He replied with a sad tone. He tried to quickly perk back up though, and replied, "Sure. Let's go back."
Nina: OK. *she could hear the change in his tone as he said that, so she didn't ask anymore.* you think my sisters would wanna share it with me? *she didn't mention taiyo because he already had one.*
"Yes. If you want to share it with them." Hunter replied and started to smile again.
