Hazel smiled. “Okay,” she told him gently. She liked the idea of joining Hunter’s pack. She grabbed one of the goat’s legs and began to drag it, hoping Timmy would help and lead the way.
"Are you sure?" Timmy asked her seriously before helping Hazel drag the goat. He wanted to be sure that she was sure first.

Hilina was watching the whole thing. "Care-ful" she called very worried. She wanted to run out to her friend, but her father stood in her way to stop her.

Blazer watched. "Can you go back the way you came?" Blazer asked Dahlia as he kept his eyes on her hoping she wouldn't fall through.
“I-I’ll try,” Dahlia called out. She did as she was told and began trying to go back the way she had came. The cracking was following her with every step. She was getting closer to the shore, but she wasn’t quite there yet.

“Yes, I’m sure,” Hazel told him through the goat. She thought it would be good for Timmy to be a part of a pack again since that was what he was used to.

Hilina whinned as she watched Dahlia. She was so scared for her friend.

Blazer kept watching. "Try to evenly spread out your weight and walk carefully." Blazer instructed.

"Ok." Timmy nodded. He pulled on the goat and lead the way back to where he had last sawn Hunter.

Dahlia tried to do what she was told. She had made it even closer to shore. The cracking followed, but she tried to not focus on that. She was about 20 feet away from the shore. She stepped even closer. Suddenly, there was a huge crack sound and she felt herself falling. She had fallen in.

Hilina screamed at that sight. "DAHLIA!" She screamed in panic.
"Stay there!" Blazer barked at Hilina. Just then, Jock came over wondering what was going on. "Keep Hilina off the ice." Blazer commanded Jock. Suddenly, Blazer ran out onto the ice towards Dahlia, with the ice cracking as he went.

Dahlia began flailing around trying to get her head above the water.
