Timmy laid down next to the both of them and gently started licking the pup as well. He was licking on the side that was opposite of Hazel to help Hazel. "You're doing great." He said to Hazel to encourage her.

Cody whimpered a little pup whimper, but felt safe.

Hazel couldn’t help but feel bad. She loved that Timmy was right there next to her the whole time, but she wished she could do more. When the pup whimpered, it made more tears fall.

"Everything's ok." Timmy told Hazel as he added a little confidence to his tone. "Whimpering is good." He said licking the pup some more.

Cody crawled a little onto Hazel.

“Okay,” Hazel whispered. She tried to get herself to stop crying, but it seemed impossible. Not only was she terribly depressed and worried, but she was also falling in love with her first ever pup. She continued to lick her pup. “He needs a name,” she said quietly.

Timmy smiled a little and licked Hazel. He looked at the pup. "How about Cody?" He asked quietly.
