"Just about!" Hilina replied. She stopped to listen. She could hear the tall falls off in the distance, but they wasn't as loud as they usually were.

“Great!” King said, following her happily. “I hear some water. Are those the falls?”

"That's not how it works!" She kept laughing.

Caiden frowned. "Then what does?"

“Really? I do it all the time! It’s fun to just let go, and well, play, sometimes,” Dahlia told him.

"Yeah. I guess what I should've said was, I never had anyone to do it with." He said, looking down at the ground. "No one has really wanted to be my friend."

Blazer laughed. "Hmm, I wouldn't guess." He looked right at Álfr smiling.

Gerald tried getting to Whip again, but couldn't.

Whip laughed at her brother and laid down like the queen she thought she was.

Álfr shook her head and laughed, "Hard headed like their father they are."

"Yes, but they're very quiet today for some strange reason." Soon, she could see the tall falls, but they were mostly frozen.

Tess woke up and looked around her. "Brynn?" She whispered, noticing that Brynn was gone. She stood up and shook her thin fur out. "Oh, Brynn? Where are you?" She asked in a louder voice.

Brynn jumped up and down on the boulder, but then, she accidentally slipped and fell off of it. She, very quietly, snarled at the large rock.

“They look frozen“ king said, suddenly a bit disappointed. He continued, sadly, “I guess we can just go back home”

Álfr shook her head and laughed, "Hard headed like their father they are."

Gerald kept trying. Finally, he pathetically bit his mother's paw hoping she'd let him by.

Blazer laughed. "It's not all me, dear."

Hilina agreed. "Yes, but they're beautiful!" She said starting to walk closer to them amazed.

Brynn jumped up and down on the boulder, but then, she accidentally slipped and fell off of it. She, very quietly, snarled at the large rock.

Owen looked up. "Oh, no, she didn't!" He stood up.

Tess ran over to the entrance of the den. She saw tiny footprints in the snow, leading away from it. "Come on, Owen!" She said. And with that, she ran out of the den and followed the footprints.
