Dahlia gasped and tumbled to the ground. She quickly hopped up and took a few steps back.
Blazer bit into Jock's back. Angry, he threw him aside and snarled at him. "You little old trouble maker!" He snarled.

Jock put his head down and cowered. His body ached in pain, but it was worth it to him.

Aspen fell against him. She started licking his paw now instead.
Timmy licked Aspen back. Then he looked behind himself at Cody. Cody was trying to shake his head with Timmy's tail in his mouth.

“Oh, no. Oh, no,” Dahlia muttered as she ran to Jock’s side.

Another wolf came up running and accidentally ran into Hunter. Together, they stumbled down the steep hill together. They both landed in a big pile of snow.
Hunter and the other wolf pawed their way out of the snow. They both looked around for Anthony, but didn't see him. They sighed in relief. Looking at each other, and thinking about their fall together, they laughed a little. Hunter stood up and introduced him. "I am Hunter. Thank you so much for saving me. I thought I was a goner."

Blazer was still grawling. "Step aside, Dahlia." He said in his throat.

Jock decided to be brave a second time. "Why?" He asked. "So you can kill another helpless wolf?" He asked bringing up Blazer's past.

“No, no, this is my fault. Leave him alone. Take it out on me,” Dahlia told Blazer. She really didn’t want him to kill Jock.

Blazer grawled but stepped back a little. He was angry with both of those wolves, but decided against killing. "Ok." He snarled.

Jock looked relieved yet surprised. He was also thankful.
