She was confident that she could outrun the squirrel, even though there were plenty of nearby trees for it to run up. While she still had the element of surprise, she bunched her hind legs and held her breath, taking a minute to collect her composure. Another half-heartbeat, and she lunged, launching herself through the air and moving her legs back underneath her. As she picked up speed, the rest of the world seemed to slow down, her vision focusing on the squirrel. It’s tiny ears pricked, and it turned in her direction. The moment her paws touched the snow, she bounded forward, another leap clearing the other half of the space between her and the squirrel. The world moved in slow motion now, she could see the squirreel’s eyes bug out of it’s head. It turned tail and ran headlong towards the nearest tree, but Chicxulub was gaining on it, her front paws extended. The squirrel reached the tree at the same time she did, she saw it leap in the air towards the trunk, but it was just a half-second too late, and she felt her jaws close squarely around a small furry body. The world abruptly sped up, her paws meeting the snow and skidding across the forest floor. She barley managed not to flip face first.

(Sweet! This is the first of me hearing about this, though I've been secretly hoping to do a mid night sliding party with my siblings that night. Let's see if we can. :lol:)

Dahlia looked to Jock, “are you okay?” she asked him. She felt bad that he took her spot.

Hunter and the other wolf pawed their way out of the snow. They both looked around for Anthony, but didn't see him. They sighed in relief. Looking at each other, and thinking about their fall together, they laughed a little. Hunter stood up and introduced him. "I am Hunter. Thank you so much for saving me. I thought I was a goner."

The other wolf decided to introduce himself as well. "I'm Ted." Ted introduced. He stepped back a little, and looked around. "I guess." Hunter shook his head. "No. I mean it. Thank you."

"Yes. I am." He said shaking a little.

Blazer rolled his eyes. "Jock would make a better Omega." He muttered.
