Brynn heard something. She was worried that it was another random wolf, coming at her, so she hid behind the tree.
Hato kept going, but was disappointed that there was no answer. He kept going through. "Byrnn?" He called again.

Brynn heard her name this time. It sounded like her father too. “I-I’m here,” she squeaked, but she didn’t move.
Hato heard Brynn. He was happy to have found her. "Where are you, Brynn?" He asked looking around for her.

“I’m behind a tree,” Brynn whispered loudly. She forgot that she was safe now that her father was there. She didn’t even come out from behind her hiding spot.

Fang raps the wolf's wounds with an old pelt of a rabbit and puts a little bit of snow to numb the pain.
Silverfoot burst forward, kicking up a cloud of snow in his wake. He tore through the jungle, leaping from rock to rock where he could to avoid being slowed down by a snow drift. His breath came in ragged gasps. His heart was pounding and his lungs were near to bursting but he could not slow now. He could not stop now. His eyes darted from side to side in terror as a darkness licked at the edges of his vision, retreating every time he directed his gaze at it. He howled wildly and little by little, the darkness was threatening to overtake him. Before he could stop, there was nothing but air underneath his feet. He scrabbled wildly but there was nothing to cling to, and he catapulted, falling down a cliff side.

Silverfoot landed with a thud back into his own body, jolted from his dream, and he leaped to his feet again, his heart racing and fear clouding his mind. Only this time, his paws felt...furry? He lifted his paws up, one after the other, to reveal that they had been wrapped in fur. He sniffed the pelts, rabbit. His stomach rumbled at the scent. His head swung around at the wolf in front of him, and he appeared lost for words, wondering why someone would help a lone strange wolf such as him and not chastise him for overrunning their territory.
"Thank you?" he uttered, the words feeling foreign on his tongue and as a result, it almost was a question rather than a true heartfelt thanks. It had been a while since he had a conversation with another, and he felt he had almost forgotten what it was.

(You should be one. You're very good at it. You should keep it up. :) )
(Thanks, I barely have time for much nowadays. At least a few chapters here and there on a forum isn't as time consuming haha)

Hilina laughed. "Sure was." She paused. "Ok. And take all the time you need. I'll be here waiting for you." Hilina replied.

Jock got back to his den and layed down. He tried licking his injured shoulder where Blazer had attacked him. It was sore, and bleeding a little.
Seeing Jock off on the distance, King called out : “Jock!” He noticed something was off, but couldn’t tell what quite yet.

Hato gasped a little, and started walking over to a nearby tree. "Is this it? Please come out." He said to Brynn.

Jock saw and heard King. He backed up a little sitting up hoping to hide his injuries. "Yes?" He said rather quietly, almost as if he was scared.
