The Antler Mountains ~A Wolf RP~

Álfr flicked an ear, annoyed with Blazer, feeling he was keeping something from her, but that could wait. “If you’re part of the pack and want to continue that, I would suggest you play your part!” Álfr growled threateningly, she did not like this wolf, who openly disrespected the alphas and didn’t help anyone but obviously himself.
Anthony smiled like he was up to no good. "Play my part?" he asked like that was a joke. Walking close to Blazer, he loudly snapped his jaws saying, "I am playing my part!" Hackles raised, but didn't appear like he was looking to fight anymore, Anthony turned and headed out of the camp. Looking over his shoulder on his way out, he said, "I guess we'll finish our interrupted conversation later, Blazer."

Álfr watched him go and turned her snarl on Blazer, “What was that about?” she growled, barely containing her temper.

Blazer put his ears back, but not in agression. "I don't know." He said sorta quietly like he was trying to hide everything going on. "What do you mean?"

“What are you hiding from me Blazer?” she growled quietly, her voice trembling slightly with both fear and rage. She still stood protectively in front of her pups even though only Blazer was there now.

"Nothing." Blazer lied. He started getting defensive like Álfr was falsely accusing him, but really, it was because he didn't want to say what was really going on.

Ted went a ways. He was following along Bobcat River, but at a safe distance. He actually had wanted to get to the other side, but was too fearful of the river itself. After following Ted a ways, Hilina decided it was time to head back. "Sorry Ted," she spoke up, "but I need to get back to my Pack." "Ok," Ted replied, "bye and be safe." "Yeah, thanks. Bye!"

Hilina trotted back the way they had came from. Because she wasn't sure of where they were, she wanted to follow her and Ted's tracks until she knew where she was. As she trotted along, she sniffed the trail to be sure that she was on the right trail, and to practice tracking prey. Something on the trail made Hilina stop suddenly in her tracks....
"Hunter?" Hilina asked herself out loud. It couldn't be. The old Alpha, Hunter, was dead. "There's no way Hunter could be alive after what my father did to him. He's dead." Hilina thought to herself. She sniffed the scent she had found again. "It sure smells a lot like him!" She thought.

In her excitement, Hilina took off at full speed back to the camp. She wanted to tell her mate, King, right away. If Hunter was still alive, she wanted the pack to know. She was almost back to the camp when she suddenly stopped. "Wait! I can't tell anybody!" She thought to herself. She wanted to tell King, but then she was ashamed of what her father had done, and hoped that King knew nothing of it. Then on the rest of the pack, if they knew, Hilina just knew word would get to her father, and there's no telling what he'd do!

Hilina decided it best to just sneak back into the camp unnoticed, and hopefully King will be there. She also hoped that he didn't ask her too many questions.

Álfr turned to the pups, “Go to the den,” she said quietly, then, turning back to Blazer, she said, “Tell me what you’re hiding or I’m leaving the pack and bringing the pups,” she lifted her head, she was scared after what her last mate had done and would do anything to protect this litter of pups.

King, a little tired, was asleep in front of their den.

Blazer stepped back in shock. He was getting defensive, but he decided now maybe wasn't the time. He didn't want to lose his mate and pups. He quickly tried coming up with something to say without giving too much information. "Anthony is a distant member of the pack and an old friend." Blazer said carefully. "He's, ah, keeping track of the prey and reporting to me about it." Blazer told Álfr, but didn't tell her what the 'prey' was.
