Nutmeg walked back to Ginger. She laid down next to Dexter and watched outside.

Ginger smiled when her Baxter and Nutmeg came over.

Baxter climbed up onto Ginger. Satisfied, he laid on her back.

Dexter licked Nutmeg and smiled.

Khali began to pluck the tom's feathers.

Caiden stared at the hen. It didn't move. He licked it. It still didn't move. Finally, deciding it was not going to hurt him, he started to pluck it.

Ginger thought she had smelled her mate coming in. Then the smell disappeared and she wondered where Alexander was.

Alexander didn't go too far. He smelled his secret friend's scent, but then he smelled the Beta's scent nearby. Expecting trouble, Alexander went the opposite direction. He didn't feel like getting involved, or revealing that he was friends with a coyote.

Becky grawled back. "Hey, no grawling at the future Alpha." Becky stood as tall as she could. "And I ain't a pup either." She said along with Uhtred.

Hearing Becky say something about being a future Alpha made Blazer boil strangely inside. "Of what pack?" He grawled deeply.

Ted looked at Blazer and grawled. "Do anything to her..." He started to threaten.

“Not of this pack pup,” Álfr said standing taller, “And you’ll take care not to growl at alphas while on the wrong side of the river,” she growled again to prove her point.

Uhtred wasn’t sure what to do, he really had nothing to do with the pup other than the time he helped get her home. He put his head down, knowing his place since he was a loner and kinda slank over to Ted’s side since that was the only wolf he actually somewhat knew here.

Uhtred wasn’t sure what to do, he really had nothing to do with the pup other than the time he helped get her home. He put his head down, knowing his place since he was a loner and kinda slank over to Ted’s side since that was the only wolf he actually somewhat knew here.

Becky grawled some more, not realizing that she was extremely outnumbered. "Maybe," Becky replied fearlessly, "if the packs go to war as rumored, I'll be Alpha on both sides." Becky showed no signs of fear, but only boldness.

Blazer had heard enough. He felt way too threatened. With all his teeth, he went to quickly bite the fearless pup, but Ted was quicker. He snatched Blazer's scuff to stop him from hurting Becky. Blazer spun and fought against Ted hard.

Becky grawled some more, not realizing that she was extremely outnumbered. "Maybe," Becky replied fearlessly, "if the packs go to war as rumored, I'll be Alpha on both sides." Becky showed no signs of fear, but only boldness.

Blazer had heard enough. He felt way too threatened. With all his teeth, he went to quickly bite the fearless pup, but Ted was quicker. He snatched Blazer's scuff to stop him from hurting Becky. Blazer spun and fought against Ted hard.

Álfr pinned the pup quickly and held her down with a paw too. She growled in the pups face, “Threaten me again, and there’ll be a war, but you won’t be there to see it,” she whispered in the pups ear.

Uhtred cowered slightly, unsure what to do.

A high pitch bark of pain filled the air interrupting Becky. Ted stepped back away from Blazer silently. Blazer laid on his side with his back bleeding. Whimpering, Blazer tried pawing around with his front paws, but he couldn't get up. He pawed some more, but was only able to drag his back end. Partially due to the pain of his back, Blazer gave up on trying to move and just laid there still. He whinned from the pain and slowly closed his eyes.

She was a torrent and she wasn’t even thinking. She even forgot to growl in her fury, so she attacked him in silence but that made her all the more deadly.

Ted instantly knew he was in the wrong. He spun around trying to escape, but wasn't willing to fight back at the female. He decided the best thing to do is to roll over to try to get Álfr off of him.

Becky got stunned. Maybe everything was really worse than she had expected. With hopes of startling everyone long enough to get everything to stop, she screamed as loud and high pitched as her young voice could. If there was glass nearby, it probably would of broke.

Blazer said nothing. He just whinned because of his pain. He lifted his head to lick his back where it was bleeding badly, but the pain was too much. He gave up before he was even able to lick. He laid his head back down in deep pain.
