Ted instantly knew he was in the wrong. He spun around trying to escape, but wasn't willing to fight back at the female. He decided the best thing to do is to roll over to try to get Álfr off of him.

Becky got stunned. Maybe everything was really worse than she had expected. With hopes of startling everyone long enough to get everything to stop, she screamed as loud and high pitched as her young voice could. If there was glass nearby, it probably would of broke.

Blazer said nothing. He just whinned because of his pain. He lifted his head to lick his back where it was bleeding badly, but the pain was too much. He gave up before he was even able to lick. He laid his head back down in deep pain.

Álfr wouldn’t stop, even when the pup screamed, her mind didn’t register it through her fury, but she took advantage of the distraction it caused and continued her onslaught on the wolf in front of her.

Uhtred winced and put his ears back, starting to cover them with his paws, whining slightly.

Ted regained himself and realize that if he didn't fight back, it was going to be over for him. "I don't want to do this, but-" He said through the sharp bits of the furious wolf attacking him. He moved just right and launched up. He snapped his powerful jaws into Álfr's. He didn't want to hurt her or anything, he was just trying to shut her mouth because that's what she was causing him the most pain with.

Becky's loud scream caused Blazer to howl with anguish. He hoped everything would stop.

Becky quieted. She looked at Álfr and Ted and started thinking about fighting too.
 
Hilina laid down under a shady tree and panted heavily. For an early summer day, it was very hot to Hilina. She moved to her side to get comfortable and started wondering where King was.
