Shira looked skeptical, a bird catching something for her was most certainly odd, though of course she never thought she would be speaking to a wolf, a nice one at that. “ Jin….well met. W-where is your human?” She Asked, still unsure of how things worked in the mountains. She thought if she could find a human to read her collar, maybe they would take her back to the city.

Jin: humans hunt and capture us, why would we have one? *he was referring to poachers that lay out traps for them.*

Jin: yea, but not on thus specific territory. My pack's territory isn't far though.

Jin: I was hunting a jack rabbit. But it got scared by crumbling rocks before I was ready. I was curious what caused that. He said as kalua came flying in clutching a smaller jackrabbit.*

Shira eyed the dead rabbit hungrily, the bird dropped it in front of her and she grabbed it up in her maw without a second thought, the small rodents bones crunching and breaking as she tore into it.

Jin: you really were starving. This cave isn't good shelter from the wind and rain. I could show you a more sheltered cave? *he offered with a friendly tone.*

*kalua jumped back in a startled manner when the dog snapped at the food just as she let it go.*
