Hato was happy that Tallulah was here. He put his head down and started sniffing. "Seeing tracks is easy," he added to what Tallulah said, "but on smaller prey like rabbits, you'll need to sniff them out."
Brynn, following his lead, got low and pushed her nose to the ground and started sniffing, trying to catch a scent. She wasn’t sure if she was doing it right, but she tried.

The grimace stayed on Laufen’s face, but his fluffy tail wagging expressed that he was pleased with his mother’s words.

The little pup’s eyes widened. “What’s that?” He said, curious at the bright color of the cloth.
Hilina gently licked Laufen's head.

"Colored injury fur." Alexander replied. "It works great to keep wounds covered, and use on sprints." He straightened the scarf out to wrap it around Laufen's leg.

“What? What happened to Aspen?” Hazel asked. She wasn’t there when the bobcat had snatched her. Hazel ran over as well. She tried to comfort Cody while waiting to see what was wrong with Aspen.

Aspen didn’t make a single movement. She was unconscious.

"She came by the bobcat. It must of hurt her!" Timmy quickly replied. He became extremely worried. He licked Aspen trying to get her to wake up.

"Mommy." Cody cried. "What's happening?"

“Oh.” He said. “What’s it do?” He sniffed at it. It had an odd, almost fur- yet not fur, smell to it.

"Watch and see." Alexander replied. He gently began wrapping Laufen's leg with the scarf. He paused to add the sticks for a sprint, and finished wrapping to hold the sticks in place. When he was finished, he tucked the end into the top of the bandage.

*Tallulah found a scent and called her over.*

Tallulah: here brynne, try following this scent. *she had found the scent of a small rabbit.*

Macaw tilted his head. "Candaver?" He asked because he had never heard of the word. He stepped back and looked down at what Shira said lastly. "Oh. Sorry to hear that," Macaw said quietly, "I know what that's like. Losing your pack."
Shira went quite for a moment. “ it is a horrible thing.” She agreed.

Laufen looked at it curiously. “Huh.” He said. “It feels different. What do I do? Walk?”
Macaw nodded. "What was the accident?" He asked going back in the conversation.
“Rockslide……he was swept off the cliff, I managed to dodge most of the boulders.” Shira said, maintaining a serious face.
Winter frowned at the chattering squirrel in the tree. “Would you get down here?” He barked uselessly.
The squirrel just chattered back.
Winter growled. Might as well follow the coyote track now. Maybe it would lead him to food.
After a couple munteres of sniffing, he found the scent again and began to follow it deeper i to the woods.
