Blazer spun around playfully and jumped over her. Then he slipped in the mud and landed next to her. He laughed even though he fell. Again he playfully licked one of her ears. He hadn't had that much fun in a long time.

Álfr sneezed again as some of her own fur landed on her nose. She stood up and stood over Blazer nipping at his neck. Her tail was wagging. Suddenly her face clouded as she realized what she was doing and she backed off, murmuring something about how stupid she was. She backed off with her ears back slightly and looked everywhere but his eyes.

Álfr sneezed again as some of her own fur landed on her nose. She stood up and stood over Blazer nipping at his neck. Her tail was wagging. Blazer was still playing along when she backed away like that. Suddenly he too, realized what he was doing. "Um, ah, I thought I smelled something nearby." He said feeling rather awkward. "It, um, shouldn't be too far."

Timmy stood up and walked over to watch the rain. It was slowing down, but still raining. So he walked back over to Hazel and laid down next to her, sorta closer than he ever did before.

Hazel watched him. Timmy being right next to her made her heart beat faster. She promised herself she wouldn’t ruin it again.

Blazer was still playing along when she backed away like that. Suddenly he too, realized what he was doing. "Um, ah, I thought I smelled something nearby." He said feeling rather awkward. "It, um, shouldn't be too far."

She nodded and followed silently, her ears back with embarrassment. She had settled into life happy with the knowledge that she would probably never have a mate and she still wasn't quite sure what to feel about Blazer.

Hazel watched him. Timmy being right next to her made her heart beat faster. She promised herself she wouldn’t ruin it again.

Timmy laid his head down on his paws and looked out to nothingness as he went somewhere deep into his thoughts. He started thinking about everything that was said between Hazel and Hilina.

She nodded and followed silently, her ears back with embarrassment. She had settled into life happy with the knowledge that she would probably never have a mate and she still wasn't quite sure what to feel about Blazer.

Quietly, Blazer let his nose lead him to the scent. He could tell it wasn't too far away. Without moving his head, he occasionally glanced back. He hadn't had that much fun in a long time. "I almost think that I haven't had that much fun since my first mate." He sadly thought.

Hato tried not looking worried, but he was very worried. The fire appeared to be closing in on them, but Hato kept going. He knew that he mustn't give up. Tatsuya had saved his life, and he had all intentions on replaying the favor.

Vivienne whinned watching her brother and father. She laid down with a very worried look on her face. She didn't say anything but whinned because she didn't know how to talk yet. "Daddy, daddy, Myranda is missing. You got to wake up and find her." Is all she thought. Then she walked over to Hunter and put a paw on him and repeated her thought again in her mind. Because of all the cayous, nobody but Vivienne had noticed that Myranda was missing.


Some ways off.... As Myranda was following her mother, Miya, she had thought she had heard another wolf pup crying out for help, so she stopped following her mother to help the other wolf pup.......

Now it's been awhile.... Myranda has been following the sound of that lost wolf pup's cry, never realizing that it wasn't even an animal making that sound at all, but it was the sound of the strong wind blowing flames across the forest. The little pup looked around for the pup that didn't exist, and soon found herself surrounded by flames, with no way out. She placed her ears back and cried and howled. She was very scared and could feel the heat of the flames as they closed in on her.

Hazel thought back on all the time she had spent with Timmy. She tried to think of something else, anything else, but her mind kept coming back to him.
