As soon as Álfr said that, Blazer put his head down, staring at the ground and stopped walking. "I think you're beautiful." He came out and said. "Especially when you stand in the sunlight."

Álfr's ears went back, she was horrible with compliments, "T-thanks, I-I guess," she stumbled over each word, her tail swishing slowly. She walked close to him again but all of her playfulness was gone for the moment.

“What are you thinking about?” Hazel gently nudged him. She noticed his deep thinking.

Blazer smiled a small smile of comfort. He started walking again with Álfr by his side. Before too long, they came across a cooked Elk.

"Ah-" Timmy rose his head. "Nothing." He put it back on his paws thinking it better not to say.

Blazer wasn't very hungry either. He walked over and tore the back's hide off. "Here's a good spot." Blazer told her.
