Jock's jaw dropped open. "What?! Who? Definitely not Álfr! No, I don't hear them." Jock moved around his ears trying to catch up the sound. Not only was his hearing not as good as Ashera's, but without him realizing it, his hearing was slightly starting to fade with age.

Álfr licked his cheek and inhaled deeply, she could smell life again, it seemed though it was pretty charred in this area that the fire hadn't reached everything.

Ashera cocked her head at Jock. She hadn't been there when Álfr was getting on Blazer's nerves all the time. "Why not?" she asked.

Khali kept leading, looking back at Caiden along the way to make sure that he was still with her. She also kept sniffing the ground. She really hoped that Caiden's camp was close by.

Blazer's tail wagged. He licked her back softly. Then his large self went ahead some. He stopped to look back at Álfr. He was smiling from the inside out.

Jock was shoked she didn't know. "Blazer and Álfr hate each other!" Jock's expression: :eek:

Caiden suddenly stopped. Something caught his attention of the course they were heading in. He froze staring at what his eyes spotted.

Álfr yawned and strolled to a tree. She plopped down and put her pretty head on her paws, watching Blazer.

Ashera cocked her head, "I haven't heard any hateful tones... maybe some distrustful ones, but no hate," she said strangely as most wolves rarely talked about tones like that; and cocking her head.

"Ahh-" Caiden said nervously before taking a step off the trail towards what he spotted. "Hopefully not a pack mate..."

Tatsuya followed his alpha female with ease, and he himself signaled to Miyuki to follow him.
