Timmy cried hard. His whole body hurt, and he felt as though his whole life was a mess. Currently, the only thing he was thankful for was the fact that Hazel was by his side.

Hazel sat with Timmy as he cried. She wished she could take his pain away.

Khali kept going and started thinking about her past.

Caiden kept following. "Timmy is trouble. It's a real shame that his mate had to get stuck with him." Caiden said quietly, sorta to himself.

“Pups say they don’t know you. What exactly is the relation between you and Korrin?” Jax squinted his eyes at Hunter. He stayed in between the other wolf and the pups.

"I saved their mother's life." Hunter replied. He sniffed the air to bed sure that the cougar wasn't near. He hoped that Korrin was safe.

Timmy had fallen back to sleep. He literally cried himself to sleep.

Khali looked back at Caiden. "Yeah, then we wouldn't have to be in this forest, searching for them." She said while looking ahead again and following the trail.
