Hato yepped in fear, for he could tell that he was falling. He had one paw on the side of the cliff still when Tatsuya grabbed his scruff. Hato was shaking all over, but was able to get another foot onto the cliffside. He looked up at Tatsuya grateful, but terrified at the same time.
