Hunter noticed the young deer had left the herd without Timmy and Jax's notice. "Come." Hunter told Hazel. Crouching low, but with his legs moving fast, he went out into the field and straight for the deer.

Hazel followed anxiously.

Becky laid down with a sad look. "Is this our fault?"

*kenai looked at his mom's injuries again with his ears down against his head.*

Korrin: don't look sad you two, that mountain lion would have found our den anyway, and I would have had to lead it off still. You two sneaking out last night had nothing to do with it.

Hunter moved silently, but quickly towards the young deer. When he was close enough, he leaped out of the grass and landed on its back. The deer instantly bellowed in fear which cought Timmy's attention.

"Bite a leg or something." Hunter called to Hazel wanting her to help.

Timmy left the rest of the herd and started running too. Little did he know, the buck of the herd saw the young deer getting attacked, and wanted to protect the herd. It followed Timmy without his knowledge. It put its antlers down and charged with the rest of the herd following.

"You sure?" Caiden mumbled. His eyes wasn't even open.

"Yes, now go back to sleep," She said sweetly while nuzzling him a little.

Khali stayed awake, just thinking of everything. She didn't really want to fall back to sleep but didn't want to wake Caiden up by getting up.
