“Should we help, Timmy?” Hazel asked him. She was feeling bad about the whole situation.

Jax shook his head and rolled his eyes at Timmy.
"Why? It was Jax who messed things up." Timmy said keeping his strangeness about him.

Hunter walked a little slowly to see if Jax was going to offer help, though he was doubting that was going to happen.

Khali didn't say anything. She just kept nuzzling him. She hoped that they would find Timmy or that Timmy would come back soon.
Caiden tried not to, but tears started coming.

“Why was it Jax’s fault?” she asked, but not with judgement in her tone.

“Bye, Hazel,” Jax paused, “and Timmy,” he said quite angrily.

Khali stayed right next to him. She licked his cheek since she felt very bad for him.
"What if he's torn to pieces?" Caiden cried. "Might if deserved it, but hey." Caiden suddenly paused from crying and said that in his normal tone. Then he went back to crying again.

"Jax messed up my pace." Timmy said as if it was all Jax's fault, not his own.

Hunter started sniffing the ground for prey. Still taking his time.

Khali didn't know what to say. All she could do was hope that Timmy was safe with Hazel and try to comfort Caiden. She kept licking him, not knowing if that was making him feel better at all or not.

Caiden took a deep breath and stood up. "I'ma, going to lay down in the den. I uh, would prefer alone." Caiden said trying to hold back tears. It wasn't because he wasn't enjoying what Khali was doing. It was because he didn't want to cry in front of anyone.

Hazel looked back and gave Jax a very small smile. She then turned back around. “But I thought you were both doing it?” she asked, again without any trace of judgement.

Jax began following Hunter. He knew Hazel was going to leave again, but Hunter was going to be returning to Korrin, and he felt he needed to be with Korrin anyway.
