Caiden took a deep breath and stood up. "I'ma, going to lay down in the den. I uh, would prefer alone." Caiden said trying to hold back tears. It wasn't because he wasn't enjoying what Khali was doing. It was because he didn't want to cry in front of anyone.
"Ok, I'll be out here if you need me." She answered with a small smile.

Hazel looked back and gave Jax a very small smile. She then turned back around. “But I thought you were both doing it?” she asked, again without any trace of judgement.

Jax began following Hunter. He knew Hazel was going to leave again, but Hunter was going to be returning to Korrin, and he felt he needed to be with Korrin anyway.
Timmy chuckled as if disbelief. The old Timmy of before he had met Hazel was obviously coming back. "Na. It was all Jax's doing. We'd probably be enjoying some deer meat right now if it wasn't for him." Timmy continued not owning up to his own fault.

Hunter smiled when he saw Jax starting to follow. He picked up the scent of some wild turkeys and said, "Turkeys are nearby. Just saying." He said that almost as an invite without inviting.

"Yep." Caiden almost rushing to the den. He quickly went inside and dropped to the ground. "Oh Timmy! Your cruel and twisted ways have finally caught up to you, hu?" He cried to himself.

Khali put her paws on her ears again and looked down at the ground. She hoped that Caiden was fine.

“Not necessarily. I mean the deer would have just come after us anyways,” she tried to make it sound like it was no ones’ fault. Even though deep down she knew it was her own.

Jax sniffed around picking up the scent. “Alright, looks like it will be a turkey feast then,” Jax responded.

Timmy suddenly stopped with his mouth open. He was thinking she was talking about the cliff situation. "Ye-ah. Nasty creatures, aren't they?" He asked looking at her out of the courner of his eye.

"I big one too. Smells like a whole flock. How many do you think we can get together?" Hunter asked. "That is, if you're willing to help."
