Sherbert watched Tatsuya closely and stood by his other side. She wanted to begin courting him but decided now was probably not the best time.

Uhtred sighed at the awkward sound of the coyote and paused, "Stay for a minute would'ya?" he asked, knowing that not all wolves would welcome a coyote, and they were often killed.

"Why?" Macaw said still following.

Sherbert looked toward Miyuki and trotted over, "What's wrong Miyuki?" she asked her, honestly confused.

"Oh nothing!" She said putting on one of her genuinely cute facial expressions. D)

As he got into the light, he sat down and looked around; He was able to make out trees, and what looked like his sister. "I can see a tree, and.... My sister? Is that Miyuki over there?" he asked, trying to get a confirmation.

Uhtred woke to a loud crash, he ran past the coyote he had permitted to stay in his den and picked his way to his adoptive mother's den to make sure they were all right.

Hato stood next to Tatsuya ready to help. "Here, Tatsuya," he said kindly. "Let me help you get outside."

Tallulah: how are you feeling to hato? *she asked from the den.*

*korrin stalked toward the blocked entrance to seek a way out.*

"Wolves are territorial," Uhtred said, then added, "And you are quite clearly a coyote."

Sherbert shrugged but she went with a hunch and said softly, "It's only normal that the two beta's become mates."

Uhtred turned again and realized that where the other den entrance was supposed to be, there was a large tree!
