She nodded, and Vito shrieked.
Timmy contiued on his journey. First, they came to a lower part of Bobcat River. Looking carefully, he found some rocks that he could leap to and from to cross without getting wet.

Hazel tried her best to follow.
Once on the other side, Timmy stopped to watch Hazel to see if she was crossing safely. He titled his head. He kinda liked watching her as she crossed, though he didn't know why.

Hazel was very shaky. Timmy crossed over very fast compared to her. Having Vito with her helped a lot. She was warmer and more comfortable.

Timmy watched her, and for what might of been the first time ever, patiently.

Hazel finally made it to the last bit of rocks, but her back leg slipped.
Unexpectedly, Timmy leaped in to stop her from falling completely in. "You ok?" He asked trying to ignore the river's strong current as it went through his fur.

Timmy nodded his head with a look of happiness and relief that she was fine. Being in the river, he was below Hazel, but he waded in the water to stay close to her just in case she needed help.

Hazel stepped off of the rocks. She was very grateful for what Timmy had done. She felt bad that he was in the water, so she watched closely to make sure he would be fine.
