The Antler Mountains ~A Wolf RP~

"Well, at the top of the list is the alpha, they are the most important and anything they say goes. We all get our permission from the alphas. They eat first and demand our respect. They are also the only one's allowed to have pups, unless you have special permission of course. Next are the betas, Sherbert over there is one of them. Typically they are a mated pair but Sherbert and Tatsuya haven't courted at all, not sure if they're going to. But, anyway, betas are second in command and demand the same respect as the alphas, especially when the alpha's are not present. They need only listen to the alphas. They eat second and when the alphas are not here, they act as the alphas in their stead. Next are mid rank, which is where you and Timmy fall, along with most of our pack members. You eat third and submit to the alphas and betas. Next up are the pups, which aren't much a rank as much an age group. Pups are generally taken care of by the whole pack once they reach a certain age and they can do no wrong. Then you have the Omegas, which I believe I've already told you about," Orchid spoke fast and when he finished he heaved a huge sigh, trying to catch his breath.
Hazel watched him as he talked. “Okay, I think I got it now.” It was quite a lot to take in after living in no pack for as long as she could remember. “Thanks for telling me,” she said nicely. She was actually very grateful that Orchid was there.

Caiden gave her a little offended look. "Well maybe it didn't seem that way to you, but it did to me. Those milk jugs were loud, and the milk ran out."
"Sorry if I offended you. I was just comparing it to my nightmares from after the fire that killed my family." She said with a sad tone in her voice. She looked down, taking her eyes off of Caiden.

Ashera stood not too far off but made sure they couldn't hear her, she was good at that. She sat down and cocked her ears a certain way to make sure she could hear the conversation.
"Trying to figure out my life!" Blazer basically barked at Hilina. "Kinda wished your mother never disappeared!" Hilina put her head down, holding herself low. "Probably ran to another mountain range because she was ashamed of what you did." Hilina spoke quietly like she was scared to speak. Blazer quickly walked over and stood above his daughter snarling. Hilina crouched down low like she was expecting to get bit.

Orchid layed his head down, she really was quite pretty but all he could do was observe from afar as she already had a mate and no one ever wanted to have an omega as a mate. "Um, should I go...?" he asked, he didn't think she'd want him to stick around for long.

"Oh." Caiden practically whispered. "I'm sorry. Yeah, comparing to anything like that, I guess my nightmare was nothing." Feeling bad, Caiden came over and started licking her hoping to comfort her.

Ashera's green eyes flashed at that, she'd never heard much of Blazer save that it involved something about him killing another wolf, and she would be lying if she said she wasn't curious.

“No,” she blurted out, “I mean, only if you want to.” Hazel didn’t want him to leave. Everyone else already had.

Álfr had waited a long while after Ash disappeared before standing and shaking herself slowly. She didn't feel right, everything hurt and she wanted to cry. She knew why but at the same time she didn't. She walked for awhile before coming across the carcass Blazer had shown her too just that morning. She walked past it to the waterfall, all the wolves should have left it by now to go make their dens in the territory. She walked into the cave behind the falls and laid down where Blazer had. She moved slowly, as if every movement was painful. She sighed, her ears were down and her eyes barely open, barely seeing the world past a blurry sliver. She lay there, her mind devoid of thought, for what seemed to be forever for her.

"Thank you," Ashera nodded, "I'll be within hearing distance when you get an answer." And with that she trotted off into the woods, gracefully avoiding obstacles.

Orchid followed her gaze, "I'm sure he'll be back," he reassured her.
*Milly nodded and headed back into the den with the pups.*

*Nala woke after a while and yawned.*
