Tayuga strangely didn't try to snuggle up to his mother, instead he wiggled his way farther across the cool stone floor. His tiny bit of orange the only thing making him out so no one would step on him. He was tiny, but his world was big, he knew that, even if he couldn't see it. His eyes were squeezed shut, his head too heavy for his body, his body too heavy for his legs. He wiggled awkwardly up to his father and fell asleep on his paw, his small form barely bigger than that paw.

Sherbert peeked in the den, she had smelled the alpha going into labor and had been waiting. She caught a glimpse of the tiny beans inside and smiled. She knew it was unlikely she was going to have any pups ever but she still liked them. And in a few weeks, they'd be allowed out of the den for the the pack to meet.

Tayuga eventually decided he was hungry and that he was going to be loud about it. He yelled defiantly, without moving off his father's paw. He awkwardly held his head up as he howled and meweled in frustration at his own hunger.

Tallulah: sherbert, your trusted enough to come and meet them. *she gently picked up tayuga and moved him to her stomach.*

*natanya gave an indignant growl when one of her hungry siblings pushed her out of the way from suckling.*

Tess ate until she got full and snuggled back into her mother. She fell back to sleep.

Brynn didn’t want to eat anymore, so she kept crawling on top of her siblings. She then starting climbing up her mother.
