“Uh, yeah, no, I-uh don’t know,” Hazel could only think of one thing. “He left, and didn’t come back. I don’t know how it could be him. He would have found me, right? If he loved me, he would have?” She glanced back at Jax.

Jax tried to think of ways to get Hazel to trust him.

(Hey lacy, I forgot to mention what happened the other day.... I, who rarely naps, took a fifteen minute nap yesterday after a family trip to Walmart. ) I literally shopped til I dropped.
