"Hmmm," Ashera said giving him a smug smile and trotting past him, her nails clicking on the stone floor. "Álfr?" she called quietly. "Oh Álfr," she exclaimed softly at the heap of wolf that lay on the floor, ignoring her.

Álfr barely glanced at Ashera before closing her eyes again.

Ashera backed out. "I don't think it matters who goes first," she said matter-o-factly.

Miyuki was heading to Tatsuya's den to... see him. She imagined his soft fur against hers, lying against his softly breathing side. She got to the entranced.

Caiden shook his head. "Someday I'll learn your secret." He sat down and panted with his tongue lolling out.

Hearing this, Blazer walked in and laid down close to Álfr. He studied her as if trying to see what was going on through her head.
 
Tatsuya woke up just as Miyuki was entering the den, he lifted his head, “Hello there Miyuki,” he said.
