Timmy nodded, then gave Jax a very strange look. He laid down slowly and carefully. He laid his head on his non injured leg keeping his slivery-blue eyes locked on Jax. Obviously, Jax, was the problem.
“Just shut up, Jax! You can’t make decisions for me anymore. I’m not a pup. I’ve grown up. ” Hazel put her head down. She had to leave him. For Timmy.

Jax glared at Timmy. He thought that Timmy must have been the reason for this. Hazel never would have acted like this otherwise.

Owl milled about the camp territory, bored and a bit depressed. He had no friends, no mate, no one really.

Ade went into her den she shared with Jock and curled up inside. She loved how deep it was. She sighed, contented.

Timmy kept his eyes on Jax. He stayed where he was. He kept silent. Deep inside, he was happy. What he was looking for- worked. It worked perfectly. He didn't like Jax, but in his condition, he knew he didn't stand a chance against him. Also, Jax had seriously offended him by what he had said about him.

"Whoa whoa whoa y'all," Uhtred yawned from his stump. He stood up, sparing a glance at his family on one side before jumping down to the other side to the trio of strangers. "Now this is a girl who clearly knows what she wants and that you aren't going to get anywhere with brute force," he said easily to Jaxon. "And for some reason she prefers the company of a pack wolf to you but that's her decision mate," he added, his accent getting more pronounced with each word.
