Hunter pulled Jax back to safety. He pulled him back a little further before letting go to be sure that he was safe.

"Thanks," Jax told Hunter shakily.

Hazel finally made it. She wrapped her neck around Jax's in a hug. She was worried she would lose him. She then went to the edge to make sure that Timmy was okay.

(Ohhhhh yes I remember that now. Question: are they still pups or have I been gone that long that they’ve grown up??)

Jax spit out the stick to let Hunter take it. He didn't fully trust himself. Especially since the situation involved a helpless Timmy.

"Hang on, Timmy, we'll get you back up here. Don't worry," Hazel tried to reassure him, although she was also trying to reassure herself. She couldn't lose him. She just couldn't.
