Ginger heard him dive under the water this time and looked behind herself. She didn't know what to do now so she just swam around in circles where she was.

Under the water, Alexander looked up. He could see Ginger swimming around in circles. He swam towards her still underwater.

Alexander suddenly resurfaced in the middle of Ginger's circle.

Alexander was shocked by this. He dove under again. He swam under Ginger and resurfaced with her on his back.

Ginger stopped freaking out and stayed on his back. She coughed a few times with water coming out of her mouth. She accidentally started crying a few tears since this was very stressful for her.

Alexander swam to shore. Once on shore, he gently sat her down. Leaning against her, he said, "Here. Stand. That'll be best."

She stood up after his command. "Thanks." She said in between gasps and coughs. She started crying full on now but didn't even care that she was doing it in front of Alexander.

Alexander licked her shoulder gently. "Keep your head down too. Take deep breaths. You want to get any possible water out of your lungs."
