Aspen watched him, her tail wagging out of excitement.

Hazel smiled. She scooted Cody closer to her. “I love you,” she whispered to her little pup.

Hilina was still following the tracks. "Really? Who?" She asked pausing.

Timmy finished his howl. He looked at Aspen smiling. He heard Hazel and looked towards her. "Looks like mommy is awake." He told Aspen.

Cody curled up into Hazel's fur. "I luv you." Cody tried repeating.

Aspen panted and ran to Hazel. She jumped on top of her, all riled up from playing with Timmy.

Hazel licked Cody. When Aspen jumped on top of her, she let out an “oof” sound. “What are you doin’ you cheeky pup?” she asked her.
