(No. ;) He's meaning if Ted saw him as a threat, he wouldn't of looked away to check for danger. )

“Ok, thanks” He replied. “I don’t think Anyone will come on a frozen lake though”

Ted stopped laughing. "It's a habit." He said quietly. "I'm not used to not having someone always lurking around ready to attack if I did the slightest move wrong." He told King sadly.
