"No, really!" Cried Rusty with horror. "It's there!"

Gerald kept laughing. He didn't believe Rusty. He took one more step back. As he stepped on the leaf, it made a strange crinkling sound. Instantly he knew Rusty was right. High-yih yepping, Gerald jumped a couple of feet in fear.

Gerald landed running. He didn't care where he ran, he just wanted to get away from that leaf. Yelping in fear, he accidentally ran right out of the den. He wasn't out for long before he slipped on a peice of ice and landed in a pile of melting snow.
