“Who’s this little guy?” He asked.

Alexander looked down. "Baxter." He replied.

(Yep. I remember seeing it in a documentary.)

*Tallulah scanned the small herd. The weaker elk was off to the side a little ways, probably being chased off by the healthier elk. It had it's head down as it nibbled some grass. She was crouched low as she stalked as close as she could. But the winds shifted, erted the elk herd to them and they started running, the weaker one lagging behind. She huffed with annoyance before taking off after it just as it passed between her and hato.*

*natanya and Kane both bid and watched with Owen as well.*

(Oh, cool.)

Hato left his his hiding spot once he saw the herd on the move. He took off after the herd and ran towards the side of them. He was basically running blind after the herd, because the herd was on his blind side. He tilted his ears to hear them better and payed more attention to not running into things.

Caiden got excited with the herd's sudden movements. He quickly got up and followed behind forgetting the pups.

Owen watched everything. He couldn't wait to get involved. He suddenly forgot what his mother told him as he got up to follow Caiden and the herd.

"Um..." Rusty turned in a circle. Where is the den? He wondered. Rusty tentatively lowered his paw into the snow in a radom direction which he hoped their den lay. He picked up his paw again, not wanting to go in the wrong direction. He was about to admit that he also didn't know which direction the den lay when he wondered aloud, "Did I make that?" Rusty was looking at the snowy paw print he had made. He turned around excitedly to his brother, "Gerald, look!"

Gerald looked around nervously. Hearing Rusty's excited tone, he figured that he had spotted the den. He quickly trotted over with his tail wagging. "Found the den?" He said happily. "I knew it was there the whole time." Gerald teased assuming that Rusty was pointing to the den.

cold again thought Brina to her self I'm so hungry wait what was that * she turned her nose and breathed hard* mmmm rabbit it was going to be hard to sneak up on it ......... and ...... once again just as I got in a mouth-watering distance in went down its rabbit hole,,
oh I'm so hungry!

*Tallulah came up to one side of the target, trying to push it into a good position for one of them to take it down. She nipped at it's legs to get it closer to hato.*

*natanya yippee and raced after her brother and cqiden excitedly.*

*Kane stayed hidden, following from a safe distance.*

Hato kept running alongside the elk. Hearing the elk get closer, Hato nipped to the side and got one of the sick elk's front legs. The elk stumbled a little, but didn't go down. Hato lost his grip because he didn't have a good one.

Caiden chased after the elk and tried getting closer. When the sick one stumbled a little, he was able to get closer.

Owen tried running as fast as his little legs could carry him. Being young and small, his legs started quickly getting tired but he kept trying to keep up.
