"I'm Baxter! The pup! Me!" Baxter replied excitedly. "I'm not the only pup out here! You are too!" Baxter said a little loudly.

"Yeah... I suppose that's true." Rusty agreed, only half following what Baxter was saying. "I'm Rusty."

 

[Lacy Duckwing]

"Yeah... I suppose that's true." Rusty agreed, only half following what Baxter was saying. "I'm Rusty."

"What are you doing?" Baxter asked getting down on his two front paws.

"What are you doing?" Baxter asked getting down on his two front paws.

"Nothing." Rusty said quickly, looking with embarrassment at the leaf under his paws. "What about you?" He added.

 

[Lacy Duckwing]

"Sure is chilly out here" King said, trying to break the silence.

"Cold be coldah." Jock replied.

"I'm looking at a wolf pup!" Baxter exclaimed loudly.

"Cold be coldah." Jock replied.

King nodded. "Not sure if we should stay out here, with this new wolf out there"

 

[Lacy Duckwing]

Jock shook his head.

"I'm looking at a wolf pup!" Baxter exclaimed loudly.

"Me too?" Rusty said awkwardly, not knowing how to act around strange pups.

(Baxter is the name of one of my dogs, so that's who I keep thinking of)

Jock shook his head.

King stood up and stretched out a little. "Imma head back" he told Jock. "If you want, Hilina, you can say here"

"Why'd you call that leaf a bird?" Baxter asked curiously.
