Alexander yipped at the bite, though it was more out of being startled. He got behind, but went back to where he was.

Whip smiled in satisfaction at the yelp and basically started prancing at her mothers side.
Álfr finally saw her den and tried her best not to speed up at all.
Uhtred was tired but refused to show it and was determined to get the wolf in a safe place.

Alexander stayed by Uhtred's side and was a little embarrassed about yipping over a pup biting him. He saw the den ahead and encouraged Uhtred, "not much further."

Álfr finally reached just outside her den entrance and stopped just outside until Uhtred got close enough then ducked inside and showed him where to lay him.
Uhtred walked in slightly hesitantly and as gently as he could set the wolf down near the back of the den. He then started backing out as he did not belong there.

Alexander stayed outside, though nobody noticed. When Uhtred started backing out, he stood behind him. "Where you going?" He asked in a low tone.

Tayuga eventually got to the point where he was just repeatedly whining and howling over and over and over again, he hadn’t meant to get lost. He hated himself for sounding so pathetic but he needed to get home before his parents realized he was gone, if they hadn’t already.
Chandi sat on a tree branch way ahead and covered his ears with his paws, trying to block out his annoying brother.

“Um, leaving? I don’t belong here,” Uhtred said and continued.
Álfr called out, “Alexander, you may come in and out as you please until Blazer is healed enough to take care of himself.” She laid down next to her mate, still mad at him but also worried.

Owl had stayed behind and was wandering around, bored.

"You get involved, and expect to leave easily?" Alexander asked still in that strange low tone. He lifted his head real quick. "Ok, Alpha. Thank you." He called, then returned his attention to Uhtred.

Gerald sat down by Owl and watched his den.

“Yes… what reason do I have to stay? I’m a loner, I help where I can and then go back out to find something else to help with, I just try to be helpful, especially where pups are involved,” Uhtred said, looking at Gerald for a minute. He was confused.

Owl finally laid down by Gerald, he was confused as to why the pup had chosen to stay by him through everything but wasn’t going to complain, the boy would be much bigger than him and he didn’t want any problems with the possible future alphas. He was scared though, with how dominant both pups were, that they would kill each other over that title. And he didn’t want to be in the middle of that.

Chandi eventually got tired of his brothers screaming and ran along the tree tops looking for a wolf, a pack, anything to help his brother get home so Chandi could explore in peace.

Alexander smiled and his tail wagged a little. "Perfect. You're not the first." He said with all inter motives. "Perhaps you could be a secret wolf?"

Gerald laid his head on his paws. He was concerned about everything.
