The bobcat jumped away, just barely avoiding Timmy’s hurtful attempt. It hadn’t taken it’s eyes off of Hazel and the pups, and it was sure it would win.

Hazel continued to slowly step backwards.

(Ok, Hunter, the previous Alpha of Sayuki, started a new Pack called Truman Pack. In Sayuki Pack, the new Alpha, Blazer, had gotten in a fight with a Loner, and now his back end is paralyzed. The Alpha female, Álfr, chased off the Loner. Recently, an old wolf of Sayuki Pack had passed away as well,due to old age.)

Timmy missed, but didn't give up. "Why, you, little." He snarled through his teeth. He launged again at the beast.

The bobcat, not even the slightest bit stunned, jumped back, landing in a low position. It waited for the perfect moment, then, finally, he pounced over Timmy.

Hazel stopped. “Kids, I need you to...” she cut off out of fear.

Timmy moved to the side, avoiding the cat's attack. Then he realized that the bobcat was only trying to go over him. Filled with fury of the bobcat's deception and the fact that it was after his family, Timmy leaped onto the bobcat and bit down into it's hide.

Cody was ready, but didn't know what for.
 
*nana had left the pack camp for a while, she was heading for the stream, wanting to get away from the other wolves for some time.*

The creature snarled at the pain. It flailed and flipped over and over until it was free of Timmy’s bite.

“RUN!” Hazel screamed. She led the way as she ran back toward camp.

The bobcat noticed the sudden movement of the wolves. It sprinted after them.

Timmy was quick on his feet. He wasn't going to let the bobcat get his family, even though it was automatically faster than a wolf. "Turn!" He called to Hazel hoping she'd understand.

Cody didn't hesitate. He bolted for home as fast as his little legs could carry him.
