The Antler Mountains ~A Wolf RP~

Jezza raced through the tall grass, letting out a joyful howl she enjoyed the feeling of the wind in her fur. She howled again, finally she was free.
(Are there any other young male wolves she could run into??? ;))
Baxter sniffed inside a hole. He wagged his gray tail with excitement as he tried to dig deeper into the mysterious rabbit hole he had found. Trying to stick his young head down further, Baxter said, "I think I see something!"

Dexter, Baxter's older brother by a few minutes barely looked at Baxter. He was lazily laying in the grass not too far from his younger brother. Unlike the adventurous Baxter, Dexter rather lay around and stay close to the den. The only reason why he was out here was because their father, Alexander, had told Baxter if he wanted to wander anywhere, he HAD to take someone with him. And that someone ended up being Dexter. "Maybe we should head back now." Dexter grumbled for having to be away from the den.

"No! We can't! I just- have-" Baxter tried pushing himself deeper into the hole in which he was too big for. As he pushed, dirt from around the hole fell into Baxter's grey fur. Dexter, who was mostly white except for some black mixed in, shook his head at Baxter's dirtiness. He was about to say something about that when he heard another young wolf howl. He quickly stood up and said, "Ah, Baxter, maybe we should go?" "What?" Baxter replied muffled and continued to try pushing himself deeper.

(There's two. :p )

Jezza continued to bound through the forest not even catching the scent of the other two wolves before she crashed straight into the darker of the two wolves. She fell In a heap tangling herself up with the other wolf

Baxter yepped as someone crashed into him causing him to be pulled out of the hole he was trying to go in. Getting all tangled out with whoever it was, Baxter tried to regain his footing. "Dexter! I'm not lea-" Baxter began to say thinking that his brother was the one who had crashed into him.

Dexter watched the whole thing happen. He ran over to the two tangled pups. "Baxter!" He said coming over and interrupting his brother. "Are you ok?" He asked not putting too much attention into the other pup, yet.

She launched to her feet her hackles on end “watch it!” She snapped even though it had been her fault but her fiery personality was not one that would let her admit her faults

Baxter scrabbled away and onto his feet. "Hey," he said confused, "you- uh, watch it." He wasn't snappy at all and didn't know what else to say.

Dexter raised his hackles and stepped between Jezza and Baxter. "Back off!" He grawled in defense to his brother. "That was your fault, not his! He was in a hole going nowhere!"

She glared at the one she’d tripped over, his confusion puzzled her a little. Then the other wolf stepped between them and she started to feel her temper heat up “excuse me but last time I checked wolves shouldn’t bury their heads in the ground” she argued.
(Idk I need her to find like some sort of romantic connection just to make it interesting….perhaps it might be one of these two….)

Baxter often didn't feel like Dexter should help him, and that he could handle things on his own, but he wasn't so sure on this situation. Then he heard what Jezza said about burying his head. "I wasn't burying my head," he said doing his best to sound offended, even though he was doing a terrible job at that. "I was hunting!" He finished with a happy tone.

Dexter put his head down raising his white hackles higher. "Leave my brother alone!" He grawled. He did agree with her on that, but wasn't going to show it because he was too focused on protecting his brother.

(Ok... )

She frowned at the other wolf “hunting? What were you waiting for the prey to trample you and then grab them or something?” She asked genuinely curious. Then she turned back to the other wolf and bared her teeth “and you, why are you fighting a battle that isn’t yours to fight?”

(Do you have a preference as to which one or would you rather just let it play out or something?)

"Yes, hunting, but no on the rest." Baxter replied forgetting to sound offended. "There's something in that hole." He pointed his dirt covered paw to the hole he was in.
"He's my brother and our parents want me to protect him." Dexter snarled.
