Dexter started sniffing the ground. He could smell a well used rabbit trail. "I think I found it," Dexter whispered and put his head up. "Good." Alexander replied. He looked around to see if anyone was nearby then turned his attention back to Dexter. "Follow it."

She continued to creep closer eyes glued on the prey. She crouched in the bushes ready to launch herself at the prey when she caught another wolfs scent. “Oh no you don’t” she growled, this was her hunt. (She doesn’t know who it is)

Dexter began following it. He could hear a small creek running ahead. "I hear water ahead." He whispered. "Then the rabbit den would be the other way." Alexander whispered back.

Jezza’s ears pricked as she heard voices, she shook it off and returned to focusing on the prey. Then she launched, she flew across the path, straight in front of Dexter and Alexander pinning the rabbit with her paws and grabbing its throat with her teeth.

Dexter jump back startled because he wasn't expecting to see anybody else. Alexander let out a slight grawl being startled himself, but quickly regained himself. "Jezza! What are you doing out here alone?" He asked more out of being startled than anything.

She released the rabbit and looked up equally as startled, she’d known others were out here but she hadn’t realised they were that close. “Oh er hi? Um I’m hunting alone.” She glanced around embarrassed “sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you”

Alexander stepped back and nodded. "Alone? Does your parents know you're out here?" Alexander asked and relaxed.

Alexander nodded. "Ok." He replied, then looked at Dexter. "Perhaps you want to find that creek?"

Dexter looked from Jezza to his father then back. "Uh, sure." He replied and stuck his nose to the ground not sure what to do or say.
