Dexter looked at Jezza. He looked at her, then where she nodded. Looking back at her, he had a weird look on his face.

"Let's not do rabbits anymore, Dexter."' Alexander said locking his eyes on the creek. His tail wagged a little like he saw something interesting.

“What?” She asked frowning and glancing at Dexter, “did I say something?”

She glanced down and mumbled something, embarrassed. “Actually I’m um gonna take this back to my den…” she said trailing off, she turned around and picked up the rabbit she had dropped by the river. She trotted back away from them not waiting for a response

(Dexter secretly has poor eyesight, so he couldn't see the rabbit hole. Alexander knows that Dexter has poor eyesight, but I haven't decided if Dexter is aware. Alexander might be trying to not let Dexter know that, so that's why he was trying to get Dexter's attention. )
