Here are two videos of the DEA's finest dodging questions regarding cannabis, hard drugs, and DEA priorities. The people asking the questions do make her look like a fool.

The next man asks questions and was displeased by how she answered the first man and would like better answers.

If you do not wish to watch the videos the interview goes a little something like this:

Me: What is worse a butter knife or a nuclear bomb?
DEA:We at the DEA feel that all weapons are bad.
Me: Yes I know weapons are bad, but what is worse a nuclear bomb or a butter knife?
DEA: Some people get killed by bombs and some people get killed by butter knives so there is no definite answer.

I wonder why he's going after her when it's his group that makes the law ? Or the president could make an executive order to not enforce the marijuana laws. why beat up on her for doing her job ?

This is standard fare on Capitol Hill...Our current Chief Law Enforcement Officer couldn't answer a question straightforward if his life depended on it. This is why people go to law school...So that they can get high paying jobs obfuscating....Sounds like a cozy gig.

If they don't want the law enforced then they should change the law.

He is a representative of colorado (A state with legalized medical cannabis) and would like to know if the head of the DEA knows anything about drugs or if they have medicinal benefits which cannabis has.

That's not for her to decide that's for him to decide and to change the law if needed. Her job is to enforce the law he's responsible to make.

The DEA chooses who they go after. Both of them wanted to know their priorities and how they choose which drug to focus on. In the videos we found out that they do not worry about the effect of the drugs on the community they worry about the effect that the operations have on communities.

Another point that she made which completely contradicted what the DEA stands for is when the representative asked if she knew about cannabis medical effects. She responded I do not know them but that is BETWEEN HIM AND HIS DOCTOR. Even though it is between him and his doctor the DEA raids dispensaries, growers, and patients.

Like I said maybe they should be working on changing the laws, instead they would rather grandstand and get there face on you tube. have they introduced a bill to change the law ? Have they asked the President to make an executive order to have DEA not enforce the law ? It seems they want to get face time without doing anything.

Is the DEA really the one to ask? They are tasked with enforcing laws regarding drugs. They aren't the ones who decide which drugs should be legal. Polis's points, valid though they may be, need to be directed at those who can change the law, not those who enforce it. This is like asking the police officer who pulled you over why the speed limit is 55 instead of 65. The officer might have an opinion but that opinion is the one used to set the limit.

How hard is it to say "yes, heroin is more addictive and more harmful than marijuana, but marijuana is still a problem we need to address", lol. She would have looked a tad bit brighter. And oh, those stutters.

Infact those same representatives drilling her have brought a bill to the table to defund the DEA regarding raids against cannabis patients and dispensaries.
