The "Ask Anything" to Nicalandia Thread

Appears to be a Wheaten/eb cross, the early chick flight feathers disply gold dilution.
A Wheaten/Partridge? Interesting combo.

I have another Buff chick that looks pure for Buff, no black, but has slight striping/spotting on the head. I can get a picture of the chick in a moment.

Here's chick #2. She also has slight eye striping.
Is this one the same as the first chick?

I had 2 chicks hatch looking like this but more white and the markings barely noticeable, I still can't describe the color but one came out a columbian type pattern and the other maybe an incomplete columbian? I read somewhere the dot on the head is wheaten, not sure tho.. I can take pictures in a second. A third I hatched had a silver birchen phenotype?? but is coming in a very deep Partridge? If someone wants to take a look

I have some bantam pullets I'm hoping to put with silkie males next year:

White crested black polish
Blue barred cochin
Dark Brahma
Buff Brahma

What would I get crossing those to a Partridge, splash, or silver partridge silkie?

Also those would be sexlinked, right? The cochin and Brahmas have yellow legs and these 👇 are the legs on the polish.

Both light chicks look more like a dusty buff irl and the frizzles markings are more blue than black, they both have patterns on their necks

Partidge x White Crested Black = All black Satin F1

Partidge x Blue barred = Black/Blue Sex links(Black/Blue Satin females and Barred/Blue Barred satin male)

Partridge x Dark Brahma(Silver Partridge) = Gold Partridge Satin females and Silver/Golden partridge males

Partridge x Buff Brahma = All Buff Satins

Splash x Any other color will yeild All Blue Satin chicks

Silver Partridge x White Crested Black = All black Satin F1

Silver Partridge x Blue barred = Black/Blue Sex links(Black/Blue Satin females and Barred/Blue Barred satin male)

Silver Partridge x Dark Brahma(Silver Partridge) = All Silver Partridge Satins

Silver Partridge x Buff Brahma = Silver Columbian looking birds, the males will have orange shoulders as adults..

ALL females will have black skin. and males with clear skin.

Yes, Buff Columbian is just a diluted version of Rhode Island Red pattern, and you have seen how the Black Sex links look right? like dark pseudo birchen
Okay, thanks. I just wantednto double check I read it right. Guess I'll be trying for silver and red partridge males then.

Splash female and red partridge male would make blue as well, correct?
