Bay is what's considered the orange color, which there's two different shades.

Maran, who I believe maybe Albino. I need to experiment with him more before I come to a full conclusion.

I think its weird how a brown-eyed girl came from 2 orange (or bay) eyed parents. It means it has to be recessive then, right? I will post pictures of her soon.

Like the Deep Red eye color, I think brown has to do with Melanizers since I get both, brown, deep brown, & black from my silkies, & silkie mixes.

What are the parents colors? Extended Black colored birds often times have brown, dark brown, & occasionally amber eyes.

Poppy is the only one out of that hatch with brown eyes.

Oh. Thats interesting! I would have to breed my black eyed hen one day then.
