His sire is actually Brahma. But if i put him with the 5 or 6 largest Orp hens can i eventually start getting bigger buff birds? And how often, if at all should i introduce outside hens or roosters?
If he is larger than his Brahma Sire then he is expressing what is called Hybrid Vigor AKA Heterosis, he should pass 50% of that heterosis to his progeny.

Self Buff(all buff colored body) x Buff Columbian = Nearly all Buff F1 progeny. if you take that F1(your rooster) and cross it back to self buff orps most of the progeny of that cross will be Self Buff, larger than buff orps but many will inherit pea comb and feather shanks(not as much as pure Brahma or the F1s, but noticeable)

Curious of what you think of my odd hen. She's Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X RIR.

Her as a chick.

Here's the father of the hen pictured above. What else does he look like besides Gold/Split Silver, & Barred?

I no longer have him.

She could also be a Pseudo Birchen/Partridge. That happens when Extended black is restricted by the action of Wheaten and Columbian restrictors like Co and Db. She seems to have Dark Shanks and Dark eyes, that would indicate Extended Black.

This is a Birchen hen. Your hen looks similar in appearance but they have different genetic make up

She looks nothing like that, I've had both silver, & gold psuedo laced birds from my EE/Brahma crosses.
