If both are Gold Laced, breeding them won't hurt the coloration/pattern. Would just make more gold Laced birds.

I think I got confused with breed names and comb types here.

Are you saying the hen belongs to the breed called Rosecomb, but actually has a single comb?

And the rooster belongs to the breed called Wyandotte, and he has the kind of comb called a rose comb?

Some colors do fine when bred to Gold Laced Wyandottes, and some others can get messed up.

This is dominant right, white? Chick is golden- white, looks way different than silver chicks I've hatched before. I have one hen in the flock with dominant white, just wasn't expecting her to mother anything from this hatch..
