I ordered 8 chicks from MPC, they should arrive anytime starting today. I have two broody hens who have been sitting on wooden eggs for awhile. what's the best way and time to sneak them under them? right now, they are in nesting boxes with the rest of the flock (5 hens, and 4 7 week old chicks).
Should I move them both to a safer local in another part of the coop? if so, do you think they can be in the same room?
i'm really hoping they accept them, cause i really don't feel like having them inside the house :) Plus, I need them to break out of this broodiness, hence ordering the babies.
