The bachelor game with Fry pan bargain

This is the rooster those people chose, he was a beta rooster. At their house he might bloom. Nice that he will not be just eaten. They have about 8 hens for him. He is an EE.

I could not believe how much time it took to pack up roosters and some older hens (people knew my hens were 2+) I still have 15 of the chicks from Meyers, I gave away 17 roosters. 6 were bought to be girls and 9 were girls, maybe 2-3 roosters kept. So excited. Plus 10 of my own hens kept. So nice when I can fine someone interested in roosters. They will keep some roosters because they want "eggs" I didn't correct them as far as not needing roosters so some could live.

We are watching the last kingdom. They had chickens, my husband rewound it so I could see them what kind are they, he asked. He said are they "orange orpingtons?" I said no. New hampshire reds. Good try though...

21 hens in charge- I think you are right about "Maynord." My husband re-named him Honey. She may be a ranger red. Still has a small comb, and is being spoiled. I Have her and Peawee inside, cuddles and food, warmed by the wood stove. 7 weeks old they all are. I have them cornered off in the room so they cannot walk about the whole house, but they are not boxed in.

I was going to ask a lady at Meyer hatchery about my red ranger broiler chick, who is 7 weeks old, and female. She was like "Impossible! All fry pan bargains are male!!!" I told her, I have nine females, from the fry pan, "Give me your order number I am going to investigate," she said. I told her I was not going to argue with her, I have been raising chickens for 40 years. I can sex them at 7 weeks from comb and neck-tail feathers. I didn't tell her who packed the orders I didn't want them to get in trouble for sending me so many females. I am pleased. I just wanted to ask if the ever sent rangers in the fry pan bargain orders. I didn't get my answer. I believe her head may have exploded though, because it did not compute.

One of the little roosters i kept... "Lance- after Lance Ito" -he looked judge-ly. Decided to come forward and bite me. I picked him up and hugged him and gave him attention. Later I went to the coop again he came forward, and I picked him up again, but he didn't bite. Then I picked him up again, no biting, I am going to keep picking him up and playing with him, till he stops coming forward. I think he is a australorp. This is him at 5 weeks.

Peawee comes forward to be pat on the head, but she doesn't bite. Just wants love.
