No, my rooster was with black pullets the week before this & they was not trimmed either & she is not any more fluffy than the blacks. & they were all good.

I got my first bantam orps over the summer and I just LOVE these birds. I currently have a flock of 7; 2 blue roos, 2 black pullets and 3 blue pullets. I always want to think I love the blues best, but then there is something about the blacks, too.
I am so eager for them to start laying. I rush out and check every day, but so far nothing!
Here are some recent photos of a few of my birds, taken about a month or so ago before we were covered in snow.
